2019-12-06 Prof Liza lee and Richard Hwang Discuss Student Exchange Program in Czech Republic
After having visited KPH in Vienna, Prof. Liza lee, Dean of the Faculty of Humanity and Social Sciences, along with Professor Richard Hwang from the Department of Social Work visited Masaryk University on the 6th of December to enhance cooperation between the two universities. A portion of the talks were aimed at building upon a student-exchange program, signed between Masaryk University and CYUT in 2019. Apart from speeches by Professor Lee and Hwang on the exchange program at CYUT, they also held talks with the students who are planning to study at CYUT in 2020 as well as staff from its Department of Social Work. Both institutions showed strong interest in exchanging staff and students.
Furthermore, Professors Lee and Hwang met with Mr. David Vargas and staff from the International Office at Masaryk University. Mr. Vargas is one of the Board members of ETEN (European Teacher Education Network), and discussions included preparations for September ECO (ETEN Coordinators) and TIG (Thematic Interest Group) Leader Meetings in 2020 and 2021, which will be held at Masaryk University and the CYUT, respectively.
