To further strengthen international collaboration between partner universities, Prof. Liza Lee, Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Chaoyang University of Technology, was invited to the University of the Western Cape (UWC), South Africa, a partner university of CYUT, for a short-term teaching visit from September 6–10, 2026.
Prof. Lee delivered three lectures on early childhood music education, storytelling and imagination, contrasting musical elements, and the HMEAYC holistic music education approach. Through interactive demonstrations and exchanges, she shared research outcomes and innovative teaching practices with UWC faculty and students. The three sessions received enthusiastic responses and opened further discussions on future collaboration in teaching, research, and international exchange.
Building on this visit, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences will continue to strengthen its partnership with UWC and promote more substantive and diverse international academic collaboration.
